Omnia’s Fused Sandwich Panels

The Omnia Fused Sandwich Panels consist of a reinforced thermoplastic composite sandwich. The material for the fused sandwich panel consists of polypropylene honeycomb and glass fibre reinforced face sheets, which are joined together by a lamination melting process, eliminating the need for adhesives or bonding. Without adhesives, and made from sustainable materials, our fused panels are clean, not contaminated, inert and can be recycled, supporting the circular economy.  In a circular economy for plastic, our Fused Sandwich Panels never need to become waste or pollution.

As the face sheets’ matrix material is polypropylene (PP), it is possible to weld the panel with a PP welding rod by using our patented welding technique.  This is perfect for bespoke items requiring shape as well as enhanced structural integrity.

Buying our panels gives you the option for a license to use our techniques in the construction of your product.

Where others may try to imitate, there is no other panel that is produced like the full fused Omnia Panel. Our standard 20mm panel weighs less than 4kg/m2 and 25mm panel is only 4.5 kg/m² and are 100% recyclable.
